Services
Head Start is a comprehensive child development program which serves children from age 3 to age 5. Although the overall goal of Head Start is to increase the school readiness of young children in low-income families, Head Start agencies provide a range of education and early childhood development services combined with medical, dental, mental health, nutrition, and parent involvement.
